Late/Unprepared
Students are expected to be on time and prepared for science each day. Mr. Sinusas will start class when most people are in the room. The door will generally be closed when this happens. If you walk into class after he has started you are considered late and you will be asked to sign in. Other than first period, there are no bells, so be aware of your surroundings. If the hallway is empty, you’re probably late. Sometimes you may need to stay late in the class before science. If this is the case, ask that teacher to sign a pass for you. If you have a pass from another teacher, you don’t have to sign in late. Being unprepared is also considered late. If you are unprepared for class (forget your binder, textbook, pencil, etc.) you will sign this same sheet. Under the details, please indicate if you are late or unprepared. When all boxes are complete, put the paper in the back of the pile. If there are no more bank papers, ask Mr. Sinusas.
Most students will be late once or twice, and that is not a big deal. However, if you develop a pattern of being late or unprepared, there may be consequences, and Mr. Sinusas will try to help you come up with a solution to being prepared and punctual.
