Lab Tables
There are six lab tables throughout the room. Sometimes you will be at the table for actual experiments; sometimes it will be to work on a group activity. When we take tests and quizzes, some of you will be asked to sit at a lab table.
Common things 7th graders like to do, but shouldn't, include:
When you are at a lab table there is no food or drink. This includes water bottles.
*Yes, the gas is flammable. The master valve may be turned on or off. You don't know, so please don't turn it on.
**Please don’t use the faucet as a drum. It is disrespectful and can give Mr. Sinusas a headache when he sees/hears it for four science periods each day.
Common things 7th graders like to do, but shouldn't, include:
- Turning on the gas*
- Turning on the water without asking
- Using their pencil as a drumstick to keep the beat on the top of the faucet**
- Opening and closing the drawers
- Using drawers as a foot rest
- Sitting on lab tables
