Fire Blanket, Goggles and Emergency Shut-off
Inside the red box is a fire blanket. It is used to smother a fire. It blocks the oxygen to put the fire out. You would either need to wrap a person in it, or throw it on top of a fire.
The big white cabinet is full of goggles. It has two functions. The first is to store the goggles in a locked cabinet so students don’t play with them. The second function is to sterilize them. On the side near the door is a timer. That timer turns on a UV light that kills any bacteria on the goggles. It does not clean the goggles, so you may need to wipe dirt off the goggles when you get them.
The big red button is an emergency shut off. It automatically kills the electricity and gas in the room. Do not touch any of this equipment without instructions from Mr. Sinusas.
